Villa Marguerite is a 19th-century villa located in the stunning village of Lunas. On the banks of the Gravezon River, this medieval village might not be on the list of the most beautiful villages in France but has a charm that only non touristic, hidden gems can offer. We are a local, artistic and organic B&B hosting you in an eclectic setting. Our rooms have modern comforts with all the authentic southern french charm. Your rooms will be located on the second floor of the house. There are two large rooms, that are excellant for bigger families, friends or two couples.

Perfect for staying together-apart! There is a private ensuite bathroom with a shower and toilet with organic shampoos and soaps. A small kitchenette will facilitate in your needs to prepeare food and enjoy meals; between the two rooms there is a cozy “hallway” with a fire place and a large library. Here you can sit, play games, read books and enjoy. The house has a large garden and a historic terrace covering the total width of the villa.

The garden is very private and has plenty of sun and shade facilitated by our 150 year old cedar! For the colder days we have a wood fire hot-tub that is amazing to look at the stars from at night.

We, Fred de Jong and Kit Seur, born and raised in Amsterdam, started our first b&b in 1995. Fred is an artist, Kitty a photographer, we both love traveling, cycling and living in the outdoors since moving to Lunas in 2020.

As many people know Villa Marguerite is a mix of us “city-people” from Amsterdam, living in the very quiet surrounding of the Escandorgues with royal eagles, the river swimmings, the outdoor eating and living, in a very calm village atmosphere.
